2007 G35 Engine Emblem
For what it is worth, when I got the replacement emblem, I just made sure the rear of the emblem and the engine cover were completely clean. No grease or anything. Then prepped with rubbing alcohol and glued it with good ol' crazy glue.
It's been over a year and still holding strong. Whenever I open my hood, I always tug at the emblem a bit to ensure it is not loose.

My Infiniti stealership has those emblems sitting in their parts department. Or Google and find the emblem and super glue it on. If you live in SoCal I'll let you have my OE cover for $25= picked up....it's perfect and always in the way.

LOL. I thought someone had pried mine off when I took it in for an oil change a while back. Good and bad to hear that it is a common problem. I am still shocked at how many known problems there are on these vehicles and Inifiniti doesn't seem to care.
I take it you haven't owned many cars.
Problems that are severe means that they are recalled. I don't see Infiniti recalling anything in our sedans, except for our i-key being accidentally erased but was fixed quickly. Not having recalls means that our cars are actually functioning really well and are safe.
