2007 G35 Engine Emblem

Hey all.

Does anyone know where you can buy a replacement Infiniti symbol for the engine cover?

Mine fell off, and the black sharpie modification I did just bugs me, especially with the 4 holes showing through.

I searched high and low and the only emblems for sale are the front grille and the trunk and everyone says those do not fit.

Can this part be replaced, or does it have to be the entire engine cover?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

_Michael

^ it has to be the whole engine cover. Mine fell off too and I'm just going to leave it alone...doesn't matter.

Mine fell off right after I got the car. Got a whole new cover out of the deal.

Why not use epoxy or other heat resistant adhesive?

If you are OCD like me and need to have the emblem there, lol, do like I did and buy a used engine cover on ebay. Unfortunately they don't just sell the emblem.

I was able to find a decent used engine cover for about $60

Looks like its a common issue.

Mine fell off right before my last visit to the dealer before my warranty expired.

I got a brand new engine cover out of it under warranty

Yeah the OCD has taken over. I find it funny that a 40 - 60 thousand dollar car (brand new) could have issues as small (but still annoying) as peeling steering trim and engine emblems falling off.

Anyways, I figured the only way to correct the issue was through purchasing a new engine cover.

Maybe I will hit up the pick and pull, well see.

Thanks for the info guys!
