Thumbs up My first G!

After being a forum stalker for a couple months, I finally had the guts to buy my own G35

Car been inspected at dealer and they said it was a gem for the price (14.5k 120000km)

Ill get photos as soon as i can

BTw i used to drive a 2000 chrysler neon, you can imagine the blast I have driving this car

quick question,

It seems im missing a part on my G35. There should be a plastic part to put my license plate on the back of the car. I tried calling the dealer and he said he didnt not have it.

Any place where i could find this part?

Do you just mean the license plate frame? Heck, I could never get dealerships to stop giving me them, so I finally just took off completlely and now run with the bare plate right over what yours looks like in that picture. I figure if any of them want me to run their plate frame, they can darn well pay me for the advertising space.

I think they meant if it should have a plastic license plate holder like the front.

And to answer that question, that's how its supposed to look like. There isn't a frame for the license plate to actually go onto and that the frame is pretty much "integrated" into the bumper frame for the lack of a better word.

^^ True, there wasn't one from the factory, but I defy you to find a new car sold today that does not have a license plate frame added by the dealership.

OP, you can always buy one of your own too. There only about a million different ones available. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=license+plate+frames

Well I guess that's true too, its free advertising for them! I mean we bought our G used at a new car dealer but the guy actually asked if we wanted the frames.

Okay so what you're looking for is the license plate bracket. Actually thought there wasn't a bracket because I couldn't tell from my own pics that I took before they put a plate on it (bad angle).

This? (look at the plate area)

*Took it from an ebay listing*

Some of them have it in black (which mine is I think).

EDIT - Found it, its called the Centre Bracket - http://www.infinitipartsusa.com/Item...153-141839.htm

Hope you've taken a look at my edited post, added the link for the part. Just make sure you get them to order/pay for it!
