Issues with 07 G35x

Hello everyone, its been about a month since I purchased my 2007 G35x and I love it. However, I wanted some questions to a couple issues im having. First off, the accordion like rubber part for the sunroof detached in my car. Has anyone had this issue before? If so how can i fix it? Heres a pic: http://imageshack.us/a/img4/218/20130502191747.jpg .Also, this part came off while driving the other day. Can anyone identify where its from? http://imageshack.us/a/img689/8184/20130502191823.jpg . http://imageshack.us/a/img832/2379/20130502191833.jpg
Lastly, I remember when i first purchased the car, as i opened the door after my first drive, the seat moved by itself allowing me to get out of the car easily. However, it does not do this anymore. Do i need to preset my seating? If so, how do i do this? I have been trying to figure it out ever since i got the car.
Thanks for the help guys.

IDK about the sunroof thing, but that other part looks like the cover for the front seat rail track. As far as programming the seat memory, it can all be easily found in the Owner's Manual which either came with the car, or can be downloaded here for free: http://x.infinitihelp.com/forum/loca...s.php?catid=56

Welcome to G35Driver

Don't know about the gasket and plastic part. As far as the automatic seat positioner, presuming that you did not get the owner's manual with the car when you bought it, you can download the owner's manual at infinitihelp.com. It will tell you how to manage all the "stuff."

If you replace it with a newer piece, it won't scratch up again, and it makes the car look 100% better inside. Typically, if the steering wheel looks like that, the inner door handle grabs are shot too. MANY threads here about the issue, but they're quite easily replaced.

Well if you still have trouble afterwards,

First you have to assign your driver memory to either 1 or 2.

Then when it's a solid orange light after you've set the memory, click unlock (dunno if its hold or click) on your key fob and it'll assign it to the memory.

Now it should allow for the seat to move into place with your personal key fob. However there is also settings in the display (Settings > Comfort and Convenience) for it to slide the seat on exit and move the steering wheel up on exit.

Hope that helps!

i have the same problem with the piece on the sunroof. You can just tuck it back in, it pinches between the glass and sunroof bracket easily. You can use adhesive as others have done and it'll stay.

As for the seat, depending on which model and option package you have look under comfort settings in the setting menu on the LCD and look for Lift steering wheel and move seat back upon exit.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for all the help guys, I got my comfort settings done and the plastic piece put back on the seat rack. Just need to get my sunroof thing fixed.
Also, when I punch the gas, i sometimes hear a blowoff valve type sound. Is this normal? Has anyone else heard this noise?

I tried tucking it back in but it just comes right back out when i open my sunroof. What adhesive would you recommend? The only reason this is bothering me is because while driving on the highway, I can hear wind leaking through a window and I have a feeling its the sunroof.
