2007 G35 Journey Window Creak (rattle)
Hey All.
My front passenger door (window) has become increasingly annoying to me.
Doesn't matter if the window is all the way up, down, or in between, it creaks.
It makes like, well there really is not other way to describe it, but like a creaking noise.
Road movement does it, vibration from my door speaker does it, and as the weather warms up it is getting worse.
I heard there was a TSB on it but couldn't find the fix for it.
I read a post of how to fix it in the previous body style, and that involved taking off the door panel and tightening the window frame screws.
Is it the same for the 2007 Journey?
I will be taking the panels off this upcoming weekend to replace the door checkers and would love to knock them both out. I have dynamat to use as well in case the window frame tightening is not the answer.
Any input is appreciated.
Thanks.

So I ended up buying a dynamat door wrap kit for the front two doors and wrapped em both inside. Took a while as I never did it before but it turned out awesome.
I just used some newspaper to cut general shapes out and then used a screwdriver to put holes around the fastening spots (door clips, screws, etc...) and even put some small pieces around the trim of the door light and it solved the issue.
When I changed the door checkers last week I tightened all the bolts and whatnot in there. Nothing was loose but I just game em a snugging and it didn't solve the issue. This dyanmat wrap however did the trick.
Door panel fit snug and nothing shows but the creak is gone and the bass sounds probably 2X better now. Door noise has been reduced when driving too so dynamat definitely does what they claim it does.
It did fu*k my fingers up tho but it was worth it.
So I still have a few feet of wrap left and I want to wrap the rear sub deck lid.
Has anyone done this? Is there any specific parts I should wrap and does anyone know the procedure to get to the rear deck lid to wrap?
