Adjust '07 G35S AT footrest/dead/dead man's pedal?
Has anyone successfully modified the footrest (aka dead pedal, dead man's pedal) to get it closer to the same angle and distance from the driver as the gas pedal? I know it's attached to the carpet (Clever! Not.
) and I'm not sure if it can be easily detached without destroying same. Any ideas? Successful attempts?
Thanks!

It is attached by 6 pins, as I found on another forum. Therefore you DO NOT have to replace the carpet entirely, it's just that it's difficult finding the part number specifically for the Sedan.
