Talking Line Out Converter for Aftermarket Subwoofer

Hey all.

I was wondering if anyone has connected an additional aftermarket subwoofer and amp, using a Line Out Converter kit with the Bose sound system.

I have seen many a wiring diagram, but I would like someone who has done this first had to lend some information if possible.

I have set up a LOC before with a sub but never with a Bose system installed.

I know the general setup for the LOC, wire splice, ground, etc, and for the amplifier, remote on, power wire, ground, etc..

But what confuses me is to where people are splicing the LOC and how they are attaching the remote turn on for the amplifier.

Any information is greatly appreciate. I have an awesome setup coming in for my 07 G and if I can get this hooked up I will share some pics of the install as well.

Thanks ahead of time

_Michael

Actually there should be plenty of info on this either here or at the myg37 boards. Have you done a search yet?

Hooking up an LOC is the easy part. Running the cables is the PITA lol.

I use my amp and sub with the line-out (for the rear sub) to the bose amp. No loc.

I have looked around quite extensively and there is a lot of data out there but the BOSE amp still confuses me.

I am hoping someone has done this setup before, with the LOC, and can just tell me, this wire to here, this one to here, etc... (pictures would be key for me haha)

I will search further into the g37 forum but I am struggling to find what I am looking for.

Thanks.

When searching further in Google, I came across this.

Even though this is for a 2009 G37, would this be the same setup for my 2007 Sedan?
