2007 G35 Sedan Fog Lights?

They are only Ugly until you change them out
There are so many options to making this light useful and actually look good.
You can either change out the ugly bulb for some white LED's and convert it into a DRL.
Or install a Orange LED, like I had on my Black sedan, it gives it a agrassive appearance while at the same time not being bright enough to steal all of the attantion in the headlight.
You can also spend 50 bucks and install a HID kit to match the OEM 4300k of the projector or the 3000k yellow options for those who are a fan of that.
The main point is.. That it's always going to take a big part of your healight, might as well make it pretty or useful

EVERYTHING ON AT THE SAME TIME

I picked up some Amber LEDS off ebay. Installed them last night.
No good as a "fog light" but as for looks they are worth the 20 bucks over the factory lights.
Bit of a PITA to install them. I removed the air boxes to get them on and still tight for my hands to get them in. Took about 20 mins.
The "fog light" is a DRL here in Canada so it had to be done IMO.

I know this is an old thread, but I'm going for the same look. What kind of bulbs? This is what I could find on eBday http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trks...at=0&_from=R40 Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!
Yes Any of those amber LED's will work. I would personally recommend the Cree Led ones, they are twice as bright! Good luck!

I used one of these relay's and wiring it up is really easy. http://www.ebay.com/itm/LED-Daytime-...65a5dd&vxp=mtr
The + wire goes to the battery, there's a ground wire and then an optional wire if you want to be able manually turn DRL's on/off. I believe the relay works by sensing the voltage change to the battery when the car is started. Mine was a little flakey and sensitive though. It would turn the DRL's on even when I opened the drivers door maybe my battery is weak. So what I did was run the + wire to the window washer motor. (It only gets power when the car is started). The DRL's turn on when the car is started and it works perfect every time. I also ran the optional wire to positive wire on one of the fog lights. This way I can turn the DRL's off using the switch on the steering column except it's actually reversed. Turning the fog light switch to the on position turns the DRL's off. but that doesn't matter to me. I like it because when I turn the headlights on the DRL's automatically shut off.

Here's my DIY and the wiring is easy as long as you have a relay and a switch if you get a different DRL kit.
