a/c only works when car moves??
I dont think this is normal. Car sits parked all day in 90 degree heat. Get in the car, start it, AC on 60 and nothing but hot air for 5 straight minutes. I finally stop waiting and starting driving, and the AC eventually starts pumping cold air. What is going on here?

Sounds like a problem with the a/c condenser as stated above. Either the fan isn't turning on, is turning too slowly, or the condenser has debris in it.
Easiest thing is take a water hose and try to blast clean the condenser up front. Its the radiator looking thing up front.
If that doesnt work check the fan. On my old acura the fan spun but it spun at only about 50% of its normal speed due to age. Once I got a new fan motor it was super cold again. You need air flowing over the condenser to get the full cold of the A/C. When you drive it forces air thru the condenser hence why it get colder.
