black headliner...done!
black headliner...done!
sorry for the single, crappy pic. I'll try to take some better ones tomorrow.
Since there isn't a single good install thread for the sedan out there (that I could find,) thought I would start one, to jot down some tips.

#1 I bought the material from yourautotrim, including their hi-temp glue. It worked fine.
#2 I was able to easily remove the stock fabric covering from every single piece - except for the sunroof slider -, as the factory apparently uses a sort of glue "sheet" that peels right up.
#3 I bought spare stock pieces of all the trim - including the headliner itself - and worked on the wrapping over the course of about 6 weekends. I can't imagine how someone could do this in a single day / weekend without getting really sloppy.
#4 All of the trim disassembles extremely easily. There isn't a single piece that is difficult to remove or replace.
#5 you need two people to put the re-covered headliner back in. You can get the stock one out with one person without damaging it (out the rear passenger door.) but putting it back in is nearly impossible solo. the second person helps slide it in, and youll need to bend the right rear corner to fit. It won't crease. The helper will also hold it up as you fasten the rear clips.
#6 the clips for the oh **** handles are horrible. terrible. one of them is now permanently living in my roof. before i lost another one, I figured out that I could remove them from the roof, assemble the handles, and pop the completed assembly in. It works fine.
#7 the vanity mirrors are easily disassembled and re-covered, but mine came out pretty rough. I'm planning on re-doing them. This was probably the hardest part. If you do these, leave EXTRA material. Take how much you think you need around the edges, and add another inch or two.
#8 If you have a stone interior, you need to buy the door "welts" from a black-interior wrecked car. I got all 4 for $55. the stone welts are half black / half stone, and would look terrible against the black trim.
#9 I bought a black rear parcel shelf and didn't bother re-covering it. It looks fine. The stone stock one would have looked a little odd.
Feel free to ask any q's - happy to help anyone, as I had to figure a lot of this out myself.
