First winter on my G35x... Infiniti stealership recommended setup

I live in Canada and I use the Toyo observe garit kx in the winter and Toyo Proxes T1R in the summer. They are mounted on different rims and I only use the TPMS on the summer rims. The flashing light doesn't bother me that much in the winter and I don't drive it all that often then anyway. My dad has an 09 XS G37 and uses all seasons and said it works fine. I wanted the extra traction given I don't have an X.

Tire change over
Since I run Bridgestone Potenza S-04 and live in PA I have to change over to a winter tire. Utra high performance summer tires are not recommended below freezing temperatures. I have a G35sX.which has 18" wheels. My Firestone dealer was going to hook me up with a set of winter tires that with mounting balance etc. Would have cost $1000. I spoke with discount tire direct and purchased 4 tires and wheels mounted balanced and delivered for $1109 this included replacement insurance for wheels and tires.
Here is a breakout of what I got for my money.
4 Momo Winter Pro wheels 17 X7 4 Hankook CEPT EVO W310 225 /55R17
Also included Install Kit which consisted of Lugs and wheel locks plus the wheel offsets
I did not get the TPMS since the blinking light is forgotten in a day. If you cannot get past the blinking a piece of electrical tape will cover it. As you all have figured out I down sized the wheels which saved a lot of money. Car still looks good. My only regret with this setup is performance. Steering feels loose and grip is down. This is the trade off I have t put up with living in the north east. I just brought the winter set up from the basement and will change over when winter truly comes.

All Seasons
The Bridgestones are not recommended for Temps under freezing. The are not consisdered all season. They are ultra high performance. They like to spin in the snow. I don't mind taking it easy in the winter plus people around here forget how the drive. Price I have to pay for living in the northeast. I can't complain still have not changed over weather's be OK
