So we got about 26" of snow last week and I was keen to try out the G in the snow with the new tires. Testing out the VDC and TCS I noticed the headlights flicker when it is doing its thing. I turned the VDC off and just left the TCS on and all was fine, no flickering. Not on and off ... but a dim flicker like a sudden power drain.

I assume the VDC uses the ABS system? Thus the reason for the power drain?

Anyway new tires worked great I was just a little worried about the sudden power drain. Is this normal?

 

That is normal, it also happens when ABS kicks in.
