Lowering G35s?

I've been searching the forum for any post on members who have lowered their G35s and have not found anything. I was considering eibach's pro kit but like the ride I have now with the sport suspension. Has anyone lowered theirs and noticed a difference?

From what I've heard, Rides the same if not better and gives you the lower stance.

BTW, just saying "I searched" is not the same thing as actually searching.

Do you mean by better as in softer or firmer. I like the firmness I get out of the stock sport setup I have, don't know if I would like it to get softer. Firmer would not be that big a deal though.

I had eibach and got rid of it because I got sick of the ride... bouncy and firm. Annoyed me. I noticed a bigger difference changing the tires from Hankook to Michelin Super Sport than I did after changing the suspension.

Thumbs up

I had a set of Tanabe NF210 lowering springs on my "G"with the stock struts and shocks. The ride was a little firmer than stock but, it felt good. No bouncing just a nice firm smooth ride.

Don't think there's any lowering spring that has an equal or softer ride than OEM Springs, the Swift springs tend to get the best reviews for ride comfort, but still a bit firmer than stock.

That bouncy ride, it may be the stock shocks doesn't match up with aftermarket spring rate.

Since the spring rate is higher, the stock shocks would be under damped and won't be able to have critical damping on motion.

I think the only way to fix this would be replace the shocks to match the higher spring rates

Are you guys talking about stock as in G35s springs or regular G35 springs? Because I don't want to go any firmer if the ride gets harsh than what I have now on my stock G35s.

to me the ride is more firm.. I don't have any bounce.. That maybe due to the roads in florida.. smooth ride for me.. I do get a little more body roll when taking entrance ramps with curves.. Could be just in my head though

Are you going for look or performance? If you want performance, get better rubber and put sway bars on. If you want look then.... idk suffer through a firmer ride? i don't do the 'look' thing anymore.
