New member with a few questions.
First of all, I'd like to say I'm glad to be here. I personally am an Audi A4 driver but I helped my (lady) friend pick up a 2008 G35 sedan this weekend and I'm helping her with a few simple mods (window tint, LED interior/lic plate conversion & Infiniti Logo Puddle lights).
Anyhow, her G35 was listed as a Journey model. As stated before, it's a 2008 model with 51K miles. It was missing the cd changer in the trunk, but the housing was still there. Correct me if I'm wrong, but can the CD changer be bought on ebay for about 40 bucks? Is it called a "magazine"? Many of the auctions for the cd changer mentioned "magazine" not included. Is that what the specific unit that holds the 6 cd's is called?
I'm trying to help her become familiar with her car, so bare with me with my questions.
I downloaded the following pdf http://www.g35club.org/08-g35-sedan-specs.pdf to see what her Journey includes. From reading the pdf file, I found that she definitely has the Premium and the Navigation pkg. I'm not sure, however, whether she has the Technology pkg. She does not have the Sport pkg nor the Performance Tire and Wheel pkg because her car came with 17's.
How would I know whether she has the Infiniti Ipod interface or the brake operated Pre-Crash seatbelts?
Also, she has bluetooth, but what pkg does bluetooth belong to?
This is more of a general question, but is the trunk supposed to pop open and then lift up or is it just supposed to pop open and I must lift the trunk open? On my 2010 Audi A4 the trunk fully pops open.

I believe what you're referring to in the trunk is called the CD magazine, my 07 didn't have one, didn't have the premium pkg in that one.
About the only other help I can give is the trunk just unlocks and lifts about an inch, the rest is up to you
