if you have a 7 speed you'll need C3+ and the J-tool to do a trans service. by flushing the trans with a good trans flush machine like a BG bladder type machine. what it takes out, it puts in period. i personally recommend the inspection every 30K miles. but be aware, the same fluid in the 5 speed is in the 7 speeds. they both use Matic S. hope this helps. just my .02

 

In the 5-speed, Matic J or Matic S is allowed. For the 7-speed, I believe only Matic S is allowed.

 

Matic S replaces Matic J. cannot use J in S though.
