Hi guys , just wanted to say you guys have been real helpful to me in the past so thank you.

I don't even know how to search this cause I have no clue what this part is called, so my apologies if this is a common question that can be easily searched. -

After quitting smoking I realized that I want to replace this piece that I always hit with a lit cigarette causing it to burn and have marks all over.

The part is the driver side , like next to the windshield on the left side. It has a vent in it pointing toward the driver window. It's made of cloth and seems easily replaceable. It's connected on top to the celiling and bott is attached to the dashboard. In front of it is the windshield to the right. I the left or back is connected to the driver side door moulding (black rubber/plastic).

I have no clue what it's called so I don't know how to get a replacement of if it's even worth getting it replaced. But it's pretty messed up from accidentally smashing cigarettes into it.

Thanks guys! I know one of you g35 wizards knows the name ! If anything can you point me to the right direction so I can find out what it's called and costs ? (Not sure where to begin )



Otherwise , id like to say this car is great. It's now 7 years old, I have 123123 miles on it right now. I replaced the belt and bearing part on the power steering part. I changed all differential oils, trans oil, changed coolant hoses , fixed a caliper issue, other than minor body damage like chipped paint from rocks on highway the car is running great. I hope all of you are also having good experience with your G.

Sadly, I am going to hand down this car and will be downgrading to a cheaper bigger SuV, the pilot or xterra. I wish I could stay with Infiniti but for what I want to do I don't want to get a luxurious nice car to beat to death. Hope to come back to Infiniti when the time is right !

It is called an A Pillar. What year is your car? 2005? Coupe or sedan?
