Dealer says high beam is out

Well if they told you that they had to take the bumper off to change the bulb then they really don't know what they are talking about to start with. If it was the bulb you can drop the fender liner down and change the bulb in about 15 minutes and save yourself a ton of money. No the bulb is not the problem but you were right on thinking of the fuse. There is a separate fuse for left and right low beam and a separate fuse for left and right high beam. 4 fuses total in the ipdm/er

Well, this past weekend it was a little warmer. I was able to take everything apart. Looked into the IPDM and lo and behold the right-sided highbeam fuse was out. Fuse was replaced for a grand total of $3 and now my lights are working fine. The next step is to fry this dealership which was really trying to rip me off.
