Service Engine Soon Light on but no codes???

I was driving along today and all of a sudden my Service Engine Soon light came on, I was thinking probably another sensor again!!! but then a few miles later the low pressure tire light started to flash and then it stayed on, I stopped at the gas station but all tires were up and ok. I got home and read here on the forum that it's probably a bad tire pressure sensor....Just what I want to deal with....anyways I still have the service engine soon light on so I hooked up my OBD2 reader and there are no codes present...Are the TPMS and service Engine soon lights working together? I'm getting tired of these codes and sensors....Any suggestions as to what it may be? It's a 2007 G35X BTW

Are you sure there were no codes? Is your OBD2 reader compatible with Japanese vehicles?

TPMS and SES lights do not work together. You have a separate issue.

checked it this morning and it was throwing a p0445 code which is the evap system..I'm hoping it was just the gas cap. I opened it and closed it tight again and reset the code..hopefully that's all it was.....Now on to those TPMS sensors...

Look at mustang's post on them, it is a very simple reset while at the same time you have to follow the steps perfectly to get it to work. Search TPMS reset.
