I recently noticed that the access "hatch" to my oil pan was dangling below the car. I crawled under and looked and saw 2 bolts holding the front but nothing holding the rear with a hole there but no screw/ bolt.

Probably left like this by my wonderful dealer service dept.

How do I re-secure the hatch? I don't feel anything there to put another bolt into.

same problem, i took mine off, not needed. the 0.00001 drag coefficient from the airflow it lost is unnoticeable.

 

I used two thread forming screws for plastic. They basically look like sheet metal screws without the sharp point. Still easy to take on and off when I do an oil change.
