Guys/Gals,

I used Duplicolor Shadow to do my emblem and grill. It looks good, but is chipping a bit. I live in Tulsa OK and can't find anyone local here that knows how to either powder coat in black chrome or plate in black chrome. Any ideas or suggestions?? I may be willing to ship them off if i can get it done with a quick turn around.

You cannot powdercoat black chrome, it is a plating. Your best option is to Google "black chrome", find a place that does it, read reviews for the place, then call them for a quote and shipping times.

There are powdercoats and paints that can offer a similar appearance to black chrome. It depends on your budget and desire. Paint you can eaisly rattlecan DIY for about $40. Powdercoat can also be DIY with cheap gun and oven off craigslist for about $300. Neither will look exactly like real black chrome though.
