^ I don't want to sound like a noob here, but how does adding fluid to the tank make the sound come back on? Which fluid to what tank?
I seriously doubt it is a fluid issue. I looked it up in the Infiniti FSM and it seems to me the combination meter needs to be replaced. (I believe that means the gauge cluster where your turn signal arrows are.) It will not be a cheap repair if you go through the dealer. The part alone is $844. I have heard that you cannot get this done from a third party/used source because of the mileage issue. You will have to find a place that can program the correct mileage in the gauge cluster, or else you will have HUGE problems with your title down the line.
Feel free to read:

Read from page 25 on. The diagram on page 25 is helpful.
If it isn't the gauge cluster, then your BCM is toast, which is also an expensive repair. It could also be your combination switch, or A/C amp. Just do a test on all these parts. If you aren't savvy, then take it to a mechanic.

I have mechanics working on it, they are ordering the combination switch. He says they tested the relay and everything else is functioning so they think its the switch itself.Originally Posted by bluedevils95
Maybe check the wiring
