AWD G35x .... AWD working on 3 tires?!??

Hey all...

Weird noise was coming from my car... and the tire lacking air light came on...

Now brought to the garage and they lifted the car with it running... 3 wheels are moving but the front right is not spinning.... even under acceleration.

Anyone have any idea why this could be happening?

Thanks peeps

Can't say I ever lifted an X model and spun it, but my guess would be that it's simply due to the open diff in the front.

Having put my car on jackstands, and for the hell of it put it in Drive...all 4 wheels do spin at idle.

Now why one wheel isn't turning? I'd suspect a dragging brake, or seized caliper or seized slide pins.

However, i would think a garage worth their salt would suspect the same thing and pull the brake assembly apart.

The front diff is open (as is the rear) but all 4 wheels should spin equally unless something is putting more drag on one than the other.

Yeah that's what I want to be sure of... I figured even open diff, all 4 should spin at idle.

My gf had brought the car to the mechanic for another reason (ball joint) but yeah, i have to have the mechanic check that issue out as well.

So far he found the rack&pinion was leaking, ball joint, and some other small item I forgot the name of.... oye....
