Oil Change at Dealer?

I just bought a Beautiful 08 g35x from a private party, she only has 50k miles.

I want to get an oil change, what are the best options?
- take it to dealership and get theirs?
-take it to jiffy lube?
-other

Im not gonna change it on my own, because im to lazy.

This is my first nice car and i want to make sure to treat it right, i have always just gone to jiffy lube with my old Hondas and such.

Yea i figured it would be super over priced, what do you recommend doing then besides dealer to make sure it gets the correct oil and everything gets reset correctly.

I would do it myself, if possible, then you know, especially if laziness is your only reason. Besides that, its prolly the easiest car on earth to change oil on......

You're better off not changing your oil at all than goin to jiffy lube

^ what he said

I personally either:

(1) go to the Infiniti dealer if they have coupon for $29.99 oil change
(2) go to the Nissan dealer for $26 oil change

Go to a Nissan dealer. Slightly cheaper. Technically you can go to any dealer. An oil change on these cars is nothing special. Honestly, i'd bring my car to a Ford dealer before Jiffy lube. You might have to bring them a filter, but the oil change is like any other car really.

I'm a DIYer though. 15 mins and i get to inspect the underside of the car.

i pay $15 at the dealership when I bring them my own oil and filter.. also they give me a free car wash and i probably drink a cup of coffee and eat their snacks while I wait.

Oh yea.. it also goes on the service record as "dealer-service" haha.

I used to change my oil for the past 10+ years, but I dont have a garage anymore, so dealership it is.

Fact Best advice, go to WallMart and buy Mobil1 5/W30 synthetic then visit your local auto parts store and buy a WIX oil filter...they're the best! If you don't want to change your own oil take your G to someone you trust, like your favorite mechanic. He might charge you $10 to do the job, you know it w/b done right and you're using quality products...Gary

I take my car to the dealers just so they have record that I take care of my car since I have the elite warranty. Jiffy lube is a big scam and I posted a few videos on here showing that. For me I rather go to the dealers for one reason. If the F*ck up, they have to fix it. Plus I am just rich that I can have anything fixed on my car at the dealership. Lol
