2007 G35s no start help needed

hopped in my car, drove to my daughters daycare, car did fine, shut it off, went inside, came back outside, unlocked the car, put my foot on the brake, pushed to start button, everything lights up, but it doesnt start, even worse, i cant shut it off without disconnecting
the battery. pushing the button again will not turn off the systems that come on normally
when you push the button. has any one have any experience with this kind of failure?

Just an idea, but if your battery voltage is low, the car can demonstrate all kind of wonky behaviors. Everything is controlled by a computer at some point, so if their is insufficient power, it will perform (/attempt) some functions, but not others. That being said, it is also possible some of that computer control has gone on the fritz.

Yeah if it's the original battery that's a good place to start since the startup/shutdown of the engine is computer controlled. That's definitely odd though. Hopefully you'll figure it out. Otherwise maybe something is physically wrong with the push start button or wiring. Sounds unlikely but still a possibility.
