Painted outside metal door/window frame

Was wondering if anybody did this on a black G, you see Audi A4's and some Bimmer 3 's series with black trim, what do you guys think.

Here's my DIY link, it's cheap & easy and will match your door pillars perfectly.
And FWIW I can't wait for this chrome fad to pass

You don't have to screw around with vinyl, just get black paint and make sure to mask everything off real good and get to spraying.

The time it takes to mask off the car you'd be about halfway through the vinyl job, and it's simple to remove should you want to go back. Just my 2cs
