I'm a former G sport sedan owner looking to get BACK into the G scene. I have a question about the paint of the 07/08 G sedans. Is it still as soft as it was back in 05? I remember if I breathed TOO hard on my ride it would get a scratch.

I dont feel the paint to be worse than any other car I've been around. The only fragile paint is the interior steering wheel bezel and door pull paint.

 

Maybe it was because my car 1st G was from the Colorado area and I was told they use sand in the winters. The front of my car was a total basket case along with my side view mirrors and hood. I took it to a couple local paint shops and they said the G paint was "soft". I may revisit at a later date.
