2nd Gen report.

Well, the 2nd gen been out for awhile now and starting to see more problems now. How has your G been holding up? What have you replace and how many miles do you have? Did you buy it brand new? If not how many miles did you buy it at and how many you put on?

-For me i had my (i don't know the proper name for it) shifter replaced when i couldn't play in the sport mode between gears.
-Drive shaft replace under extended warranty.

I bought my car brand new in 08 and my car has been good to me so far. I do drive it hard time to time. no problem under OEM that i caused. Now i am SC and wonder what that will bring for the future (New spark plugs and injectors upon installment). sitting at 70k miles now. I do 5k miles oil changes on my car. I have changed the tranny fluid once when getting the valve body upgrade and the diff fluid is next to come. Wondering if i dare get the extend warranty again or save my money since i had no problems w/ my car.

I have an '08 X sedan with 55,300 miles. I'm the second owner and have had it since April, 2012. Mechanically, it's been great. The center console (HVAC\Radio) have given me intermittent issues that are getting annoying. Radio will go on by itself when the car is started, turn the radio on and will not default to the last station played before the car\radio was turned off, heat will not regulate and just blast hot air (A/C will do the same). I've even had the heat come on by itself when the car is started. My extended warranty is up this April, so I'm hoping some of this stuff gets fixed during the next service interval.

I strongly suggest that you also have your oil pressure measured before you go off warranty.
