Ever heard of a tap? It will clean out the bolt hole. Google it.

 

How about you tell me what thread pitch it is and I will. I have heard of a tap but don't know what size the hole is.

 

. . . the tap will be exactly the same as whatever size the OEM tow attachment hook is, and the 'hole' will be the female of whatever size the OEM hook is. The OEM hook should be in the trunk with the jack and the spare tire. Just take it to the hardware store and match it up.

I know it will be the same size. I was just wondering if anyone knew the size so I could order it online. I ordered it yesterday and you can't just walk into a hardware store and ask for a m24x3.0 tap. So before you get all crazy and everything it was a question that if anyone knew the size to say it . I didn't need you or anyone else to come on my thread and be retarded acting. What happened to helping each other out not making fun of each other. What has this world come to when someone can't help another person out.

 

if anyone cares the tow hook thread size is m24x3.0 i bought a tap and tapped the hole and installed my stillen tag relocator. thanks for no help
