07 G35 HR Uprev Review

I just wanted to take a minute in order to thank Joe (seymore4) for getting my G tuned in just one weekend, and also leave my thoughts here to help other G drivers decide on getting Osiris Standard.
I only have test pipes and K&Ns drop ins on stock air boxes at the moment. After reading many other reviews i finally decided to spend the money and get Osiris Standard which comes with the cable the license and 3 e-tunes from Uprev, i went ahead and ordered it via seymore4 who has a very good reputation on every Nissan-Infiniti forum on the net when it comes to Uprev tuning. The first thing i want to point out is how quick he is to answer every email even though i asked a million newbie questions regarding the tuning process, packages, etc. Once i went ahead and pulled the trigger sending him the payment he emailed me the tracking number right away with instructions on how to download the softwares i needed etc.. Furthermore, i had the cable in just two days at my house. After sending him my ECU part number which i retrieved using Cipher and the cable i had my base tune within 3 hours maximum with instructions on how to datalog and information on how the rest of the process would be. After that it was just a cycle of me sending datalogs and him sending updates back explaining exactly what kind of runs i would need next; in total he did 4 revisions because it was what he needed to fully dial in my car, even though the Standard package only comes with 3 e-tunes. All in all, my car was fully tuned within a weekend and i can say that i am more than satisfied with his work. My G feels totally different, it gets moving way easier, it feels lighter while cruising, and if i floor it just feels like a bat out of hell , i do not know exactly how much peak power i gained but like many other reviews have pointed out the power gains i feel throughout the whole power band is the impressive part. Anyways if anyone is currently thinking about biting the bullet my advice would be to go ahead and do it with Joe (seymore4), i guarantee you won't be disappointed. If anybody has any questions regarding the process please do not hesitate in asking any questions.

Hey thanks for the info. I'm planning on taking my car in for a baseline run and get it uprev tuned by JMS. This might change my mind in how I do things. Seems like it was worth it for you so again thanks for your input!

No problem man. Unfortunately for me there is not any Uprev Pro-Tuner by my area with the same reputation as seymore4 so i decided to go with him and i am glad i did. Before pulling the trigger i did my research and more than one forum confirmed that e-tuning should get about 97% of the power compared to a dyno for much less money. Anyways if you want PM me and ill give you his email address.

Hey man i forgot to add that my car is a 2007 G35 HR AUTO. I can tell you that even the way the car shifts at WOT is firmer, when i was datalogging and my girl was controlling cipher every time i would switch a gear the laptop would move like crazy of how hard the next gear would go in. I honestly never though my car had that potential but this guy is good. I say you go for it as soon as you can and you wont be dissapointed!

This is a great final step after bolt-ons. I'll be getting this done later this year hopefully.

Wow man your lucky to have the 6MT, i was looking for one for a while and there was no way i could find one within my price range. Anyways my opinion would be to do the tune ASAP and go with seymore4 if you can; trust me you will be extremely happy
