do i need to?

dealer tells me that i need new lower control arms on both sides.it's pretty expensive.

i have an '07 sport with about 250k, but the car rides great.

i can probably go aftermarket for parts and get the price down.

what if i just keep driving with bad control arm bushings? what's the impact?

bad alignment... (impossible to align correctly)
abnormal tire wear.

Noise.. more than likely it won't fall off.. but i would get it fixed..

I'd probably replace them... like what's said above, you'll get uneven tire wear, clunks, etc. 250k is pretty impressive out of the originals though. I would maybe get a second opinion though. They're usually free, and can't hurt.

rockauto.com has the lower arms for $100-$120 each.

I bought Dorman's from RockAuto for 50 bucks a piece a little over a year ago. Swapped them out myself. Pretty easy job if you have the right tools.
