Headlight mod, but Light output issues.

I recently had my Headlights painted, the guy said he put in the upgraded lense. Yes the cut-off on my driver size is cleaner but if you look at the image the passenger side is a not as crisp. Listed below are my issues, any help would be great.

- Dark spots on the floor, I tried to align the lights and the spots didn't go away.
- The passenger side is not as crisp and to be honest as bright.
- Field of light is much narrower than OEM i believe. Odd thing is everything is still OEM, so what could have changed?

I have an idea but don't know since I am not an expert. I believe the new lens are not sitting 100% correctly, so the distance from bulb is off. Could any of you please take some pictures of your light output so I can see if I am imagining things? Greatly appreciated.

I done my clear lense swap and cut off mod myself. I used the clear lens from the retorfiting source.

But I'm gonna out on a limb and said something in yours is not lined up.

Thank you very much for your help. Do you have any pics of them on your car? From the drivers perspective? See if the light output is the same or better than mine?

Thank you so much.

Did he install new bulbs? If not, the bulb is simply not pushed in all the way from re-installing after upgrading. This is a common problem. I'm making a video when I get back to my G this fall (about the service you've had done).
