Had the SES light come on, then went off and reappeared again. A friend with a scan tool pulled the code and it was P0024. I had him clear the code and it has not come back on for about 50 miles now. I read up on this and know it may be camshaft related so I am a little worried.

I actually made an appointment with my dealer but when I told them I cleared the code they said it would be hard for them to accurately diagnose the problem without the code being present. I made an appointment for next Tuesday thinking the light would come back on but so far it has not. Should I cancel the appointment and wait for the light to come back on? What are the chances it won't come back on?
