When I painted my engine cover, I had to pry mine off. It was solidly attached and I had to break the clips to get it off. I painted it as well and RTV'd it back on. Maybe it was the agreeable California weather than kept it intact? My car is an 07 with 85K miles.

 

Mine is gone too. I think willdogs has possibly solved the mystery - they must fall off fairly easy...i would like to find one but don't know where to even start looking

 

happened to me too, luckily it was just sitting there and i glued it back on!

 

Probably at the junkyard for an engine cover. Any G after 07 should have one.

 

Except that, as this very thread proves, most of the older ones in the junkyard will probably be missing an emblem too.

 

ive got a whole engine cover and emblem if someone wants to buy it.

 

Mine fell off, but I just used 3m double sided tape and put it back on...no issues since.

It is the G35's inner skyline coming out!!! Be prepared soon you will have Nissan logos... Maybe even a steering wheel will swap in with the coveted Nissan logo.

 

Didnt want to revive this thread but i put this together this weekend! The badge is a lil smaller than the one that fell off the cover but $11 shipped off ebay, some red spray paint, a few Q-tips and some RVT. Find a badge thats atleast 4x2 and itll be the closest u can get before buying a whole cover.

Looks perfect from a few steps back!



Walk closer and u can see its not a perfect fit but it works for me!

 

Mine fell off too!! Found it in the front bumper while changing my filters!!! So funny!

 

Crest Infiniti did that to me and stole my engine along with the emblem. So now what?

 

All cases of theft should be referred to your local law enforcement.

 

Mine made it 13 years before popping off, but I found it in the engine compartment. Just glued it back in place, shouldn't be going anywhere now.
