Crackling noise

Crackling noise

I need help to figure out a crackling noise that my G is making. Seems to be coming from under the car. And happens after i rev it. If anybody can help thanks.

Put it up on a lift and inspect.
Probably something loose?

Yeah it does sound like that type of noise where something might just be loose.

Does it occur when you rev it moderately at 2500rpm on a level surface? Check the exhaust heat shields. It may be loose.

When in to the shop and was told i need a new catalytic converter
