I'm trying to decide if it is worth it to install a STILLEN Generation 3 Ultra Long Tube Dual Intake Kit. Dry or Oil? Also is Stillen the best brand?

 

That's a very subjective question. There are many here who will swear that it is, but based upon a purely value based assessment (i.e. HP per $$$), and the amount of time I spend driving in the rpm range where it makes any difference (i.e. 6500+ rpm), I'd say it is a waste of money.

I would only do a intake if your more interested in the sound. Nissan already put a lot of research into our stock intake design.

 

Stillen does make a nice intake for all years G35s and they include CARB stickers so you're legal when it comes to renewing your registration! However, regardless of claims there is very little if any WHP gains plus the high $$ cost. Best advice install K&N or AMSOIL drop in filters for more cleaner air...Gary
