2007 G35x Warranty - Currently 100K Miles

Hi Everyone!

I have an 07 G35x, currently with 100k miles on it. I was wondering if there are maintenance items I should be aware of at this mileage.

Also, I still have 1 more year of Infiniti extended warranty on this car, and wants to know the "must do" warranty fixes I need to have done before it runs out.

Any information/advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
-Leo

Spark plugs are due at 105,000 miles, if the serpentine belt has not been replaced it's a good idea to do that as well.
A drain and fill of the transmission fluid is also a good idea.

The more costly potential problems that you'll want to make sure are addressed before the extended warranty runs out are:

1) Low oil pressure due to blown oil gallery gasket in the rear timing cover
2) Blown differential mounts in the rear subframe
3) Leaking steering rack
4) Bad AC compressor
5) Any transmission/Xfer case problems

Don't forget leaking valve covers, which can be checked when the plugs are changed. Technically the plugs are due for a change at 102k miles.

I just looked at the FSM and stand corrected. It's 105k miles. Dealership told me 102k. ooook. Goes to show that they ripped me off. They also sold me the newer Nissan ATF for 19.99 a quart, ****ing thieves.

That reminds me, I need to update about the GT-R.
