Just picked up a 2007 G35x with 30k miles today. Blue Slate Pearl color with premium package and BOSE audio. Really enjoyed driving the car and decided on it over a 328xi. Previous car was a 2014 Mustang but wanting something better for bad weather and with roomier interior.

Car was a one owner car and owned by a 68 year old man so was likely driven pretty lightly.

Hoping for a lot of good years from the car and curious as to any upgrades or tips I should utilize to make my ownership experience better? thanks

 

30K miles, that's low. congrats on the purchase. my 08 has been very reliable and the AWD system is very good. I don't do many upgrades, think Nissan did a great job tuning this car stock, but I did add paddle shifters - very easy to do yourself if you search this forum.

are the tires original? I'd look to replace them if necessary, and invest in changing all the fluids (if the 30K mile service hasn't been done yet).

 

Congrats! Depends on what you are after, there are a lot of things can be done.

You can get 18"-19" rims with better tires. I would suggest square setup instead of the staggered setup in the S trim so you don't have to worry about the overall tires diameter.

Also you can upgrade the anti-roll bars so you can better handling (maybe just the rear is fine? the AWD guys know better)

 

WOW! super low miles. Same here for me. My 08 has been good to me. no real problem when it comes to OEM. But since my car is heavily modded, i had a few but everything is fine now.
