Rear Plate Light bracket beyond repair.

So my rear license plate light bracket finally rusted to the point of failure. I am looking around for a replacement bracket but the dealerships what a stupid amount of money for it.

I found part # 96252-JL00A for sale, but its listed as only fitting the 09+ G37 sedan. Will it fit the G35 V36 Sedan? I assume it would given they are the same. Can anyone verify?

Search your "Bone Yard!"

Finnkc, license brackets should be easy to find at your local Infiniti/Nissan wrecking yard and the cost should be minimal...Gary

I looked for ages and it seems like this part is either rusted beyond reuse or simply gone from any vehicle in a junk yard.

The cheapest price on eBay was $57 - so I just ripped it out and used 3M double-sided adhesive to secure the lights to the inside of the bumper. It works...maybe eventually I'll spend the money to replace it - but it's such a minor issue, I don't see the point.

Ebay sucks for prices anymore, and so does Amazon. It's like they've all agreed to pricing more toward retail.

A quick google search of that part number shows that it's available for half your ebay price:

Yea, the scrap yards turned up nothing. I suspect that this part is harder to find used due to the fact its fabricated from metal made from old news paper. Nissan.

I'll keep looking, maybe use some 3M double sided tape in the mean time.

Can anyone confirm that will fit my 07 tho?
