Question About Getting Service Done

Hi everyone.

I have a 2008 g35x and am just about at the 60k mile marker.

Should I have the car serviced for 60k miles or for its age?

I bought this car used and I've always bought new vehicles. So I am out of my element in terms of what the service schedule should look like.

Obviously this car was not driven much as I bought it less than 2 years ago when it was at 42k.

Thanks.

I'm getting it. Manual says miles or months. I'm asking which.

Mileage! Nissan recommends changing all fluids/filters every 30K miles along with checking belts and suspension! If you live in a warm to hot climate like I do changing AT fluid more frequently is a very good idea! I change mine once a year...Gary

I would change all your fluids now. I change mine every 50K miles. Have them look at pulleys, belt, and do a general look over. Base it on mileage.

It's not suggesting that there is a choice, it is just means whichever comes first.
