Shop charging 2hr labor to replace rotors

Im about to go pick up my car from the shop that did my springs recently. I had a little clunking noise by the front passenger wheel after the springs were installed so i figured since its gonna be down there getting checked out i might as well have them do my rotors (that i bought) too. It is $110 an hour for labor. I know the calipers had to have come off easily along with the rotors because i just took them off a year ago to get them powder coated! When i set up the appointment they said it would only be an hour labor. Should i argue with them?

argue... rotors are a quick swap. I had two front rotors taken off, turned, and put back on. Cost me 60 for everything and I am in California...

Pulling rotors takes at most 15 mins per side with a jack and basic hand tools.

Two hours isn't unreasonable, removing them is easy, installing the new rotors plus adding the lugs takes time! If your pads aren't new I have those replaced too, may as well start fresh! Do the bed in process when you leave the shop, always a good

According to AllDataDIY it's about 1.4 (.4 each front rotor and .3 each rear rotor) hours of billable time. I would find it hard to replace all four rotors in an hour if they were doing it meticulously (like it's their own car).

I've replaced all four of my rotors several times on my own and it always takes a 2-3 hours myself. However, that's because I go through everything methodically. I relubricate all the guide pins, put anti-seize on the rotor hat, anti-size where the brake pads slip into the caliper, etc.. The rears also take the longest for me, since it's hard to get back there. Not counting the times when the rotors become seized and you have to get them off.

If they go off AllData you might be able to argue with them about the billable hours and inspect the work they did first.
