Solid key light!

Hey guys! I don't post on here much since I never had issues. A week ago, I was driving and the yellow KEY light illuminated in my car as I was driving home from work. Got home threw the car in park it went away. It only lights up when I am in drive or reverse. It went away for a few days. Now today it's back on. The car runs and drives fine. I tried both key fobs that I had. I also disconnected the battery for a few minutes to see if it would reset it, but it did not. Anyone have insights of what it could be? Hopefully it's a easy fix, I just bought a house!

My car is all stock electronically. Just exhaust and coilovers. It's a 2007 Infiniti g35x with the tech package if that helps.

I believe that's an indicator the battery in your remote needs to be replaced, your car's 10 years old so this is an issue to be expected. Could be wrong so hopefully someone will chime in to confirm or deny.

Open up your remote to confirm the battery it contains
I just had to replace mine with a 3v 2032 battery. The old battery measured 1.46 volts (almost dead) which is why I was getting the warning on my dash

Was it the same solid yellow light? I know there's a indicator for low battery in the red part screen. I have this light.

i just replaced the battery and used my old fob I had. Never saw it again. Just be careful. My car didn’t start at times because of that. I even used the slot next to the steering wheel and it didn’t start.
