2007 Journey Intelligent Cruise Control Issue...
2007 Journey Intelligent Cruise Control Issue...
Hey guys.
I have a 2007 G35 Journey with about 110k on it, 65k of which are my own.
I absolutely love the Intelligent Cruise Control feature on my car until yesterday.
Now, when the ICC is set, whenever my car gets close to the car in front and decides to distance itself, or the opposite happens where my car falls behind the car in front and decides to speed up, somewhere in the dash I get a very audible "click" which is quite annoying.
It has never done this before and it doesn't affect the ICC's ability to function, rather, it is just super annoying. It never made any sound before but it clearly happens when the car is deciding to speed up or slow down. It will not make this noise when the ICC is off or even in regular cruise control mode, only with ICC on, speed set, and some type of speed variation is occurring.
Anyone else experience this issue?

Yeah it's brutal.
My fav feature is now completely annoying to me.
Still looking for answers but it doesn't look like anyone has had this issue before.
Guess it might be time to pass on the 10 year old car and get a younger one.
