I have just finished rebuilding my 2008 G35s after an accident that set off both front airbags. Everything is perfect aside from the parts I got being from a different color 2011 G25 so painting it, fabricating the center speaker to fit etc. sucked. My issue is that the wiring harness for the passenger airbag is completely different then the one for my g35, on my car it looks like they've made it easy to replace the burnt SRS wires by adding a connector that separates it from the main wiring harness of the car. This is what it looks like:



I don't know the exact part name, and searching for a passenger airbag srs cable/wire/harness gives me nothing.

The only way I've been able to find that part is by getting a whole new airbag.

My mechanic friend told me to bring it over so he can splice new heads onto the one I have, but I read in the service manual and online NOT to splice Nissan/Infiniti SRS cables.

I'm in a pickle and I need get my brake and light certifications tomorrow! any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Have you or anyone you know spliced an infiniti srs cable or this cable itself? Please let me know I would really appreciate it!
