My turn signal arrows (green) on the instrument panel blinks when I give the turn signal, but has stopped clicking for the last few days. Could anyone direct me as to how to repair it as I like the clicking noise of the turn signal? I have read elsewhere that the "buzzer" fuse may be defective or blown. However, I cannot find where this fuse is located. Is it in the inside fuse panel near the left foot on the driver's side or in the fuse panel in the battery compartment, or elsewhere? Please help.
Thank you for your kind reply and pointing out how dumb I am. However, I was looking for help, not for an "intelligent" comment. I will change the blinker fluid in my brain and see if that helps, just in case. By the way, what color is blinker fluid - gray by any chance? Who sells it? You?
Blinker fluid is pink in case you have a leak you know where it's coming from. Pick it up from your local dealer.
All jokes aside, do you still hear the beep when your key is turned? How about when hazards are on? Also the headlights on warning chime when door is open. Our cars have a "buzzer" that emits all the noise controlled by the bcm.
The clicking sound is the flasher relay, they're pretty noisy, the FSM will tell you exactly where it's at in the cabin. On my phone today or I would link it to you, if you have problems navigating the FSM I can check later when I'm home.
I know most cars have a mechanical relay that puts out a clicking noise. But from reading the manual and looking at the electrical diagram, it appears our cars emit all noises through one buzzer sent by the bcm. The buzzer is part of the cluster gauges. It makes sense because the tick doesn't even sound like a real tick. I've heard of it not working before but most times it goes back to normal after turning car on/off.
Btw, do our cars have a seatbelt warning chime? I know there's a light for it but just want to make sure the previous owner did not disable the chime...

FWIW, my car has mysteriously stopped "clicking" before. No door chime, lights-on chime, or turn signals. From what I understand it is a speaker/buzzer, not a mechanical noise.
I have literally no explanation for this, but it started working again after I jump-started someone else (possibly entirely a coincidence)
Hope that helped shed some light on the situation!
Great, now I need to troubleshoot my vehicle because I have NEVER had a door chime or lights on beeper so apparently mine is either disabled or broken. The only turn signal click I have is audible from the relay and I thought that was the norm.
2008 g37s blacked out, coilovers, havent had the car long.
mine too.. g37

i have a g37 and mine actually started w the beep cutting in and out. then now the blinker. im guessing relay, if not relay then fuse, if not fuse then module. i will get to it when i can (most likely after vacation in a couple weeks) and let u guys know what fixed it.

I have the same issue in my 07 where the gauge cluster was beeping fine when the door was open or turn signal was on but now, it doesn't beep at all and I LOVE IT!
I hate that annoying beeping sound when the door is open so i hope it don't come back!
But for those that miss that annoying sound, the only solution is to replace the 'beeper' device on the gauge cluster board marked in the RED circle. 2007 G35 gauge cluster. 2007 G35 gauge cluster.
