Electrical problems - 2007 g35x - won't start, etc

I'm having some electrical problems.

I was driving down the street (close to home), and all electrical shuts down and I hear a klunk (No stereo, no nav, no ac, no windows going up or down, no blinkers functioning. , but car kept running. I get home and car won't start back up. I had been having some electrical problems a couple of months ago and I read something that indicated i might need to clean my engine grounds. So, I did some light cleaning and the car worked fine for a couple of months (other than my intellikey only working at very close range). So, I decided to clean the engine grounds more thoroughly. Car started back up. Drove it a couple of times, and then the next day on my way home, the electrical on my car shuts down again. But, this time the electric comes back on after a few seconds. I was very close to home. I get home and turn the car off and tried to restart it, but it wouldn't start. But, the dash lights come on and stereo comes on. However, when I try to turn it off, it won't turn off. To be clear, it's just the electrical that won't turn off since the car won't start. Also won't crank. I have to remove a battery cable to get the car to turn off.

I took the battery to have it tested even though it was only 10 months old, and they said it had a bad cell. I got a new battery and I was hoping this would help. But, to no avail. Car still won't start and won't crank, and won't take a jump.

At the time of my original problems a couple of months ago, my intelli-key stopped working properly. So, I bought a new battery for it. That didn't help, so I bought another new battery for it (different brand). Still didn't help. Key only works at very short range and sometime the car indicates there is no key in the car when there is. So, part of me thinks this could be key related.

I also think it could a bad connection somewhere and I suppose, the starter could also be a problem.

I have a cheap little battery tester that says the battery is fully charged, so I don't think I got a bad new battery.

Also, I've cleaned the battery terminals with a wire brush, so I don't think that's the problem.

Additional info: When I press the ignition/ start button, the dash lights come on, the stereo comes on, blinkers work, but headlights do not work.

Any ideas??

Remove the battery, take it to a battery shop to be tested.

Remove the starter, take it to a starter shop to be tested.

While both are removed, remove both battery cables, positive and negative, have them tested for RESISTANCE (Ohms), should be ZERO (or damned close to zero).

With battery removed inspect the IPDM (fuse box next to the battery) for corrosion/water/damage/etc, pull every fuse and relay one at a time and inspect the electrical connectors for corrosion.

Google search where all your engine compartment grounds are, there's 7-8 usually, battery to chassis, chassis to engine, transmission, headlights, etc. Each needs to be removed, brushed, apply anti-oxidation grease, reassemble.

Sounds like maybe a relay problem though, unless you know someone who's good at playing with electricity you're likely going to need to tow to the dealership and pay the diagnostic fee to have them troubleshoot the problem.
