Fuse for auto dimming mirror?

I am trying to find if there is a fuse for auto dimming mirror?

I looked at the owners manual (PDF) but couldn't find it.

I am trying to disable it because my tint is dark enough for me at night

If you weren't worried about disconnecting your homelink garage door controller as well you could just pop the finisher off the mirror and unplug the harness. Unfortunately you can't just pull the fuse because it is the same fuse for almost all interior functions.

Do you have anything hanging behind the mirror? Mine used to do the same thing.

What VLT tint are you using btw? I have 20% which feels perfect and my anti-dazzle mirror pairs well with that tint.

Can't you just tuck it behind the headliner

I don't feel like pulling mine off just for the sake of exploration but I thought there was a physical connector BEHIND the plastic trim piece that connects the mounting base to the headliner. If you can't just unplug the harness and keep it hidden behind the trim then you could always cut wire the black wire which is the ground for the mirror, it shouldn't be able to function at that point. Make sure to cap the ends of the wire.

And he doesn't need 100, rules have changed: 5 posts and 15 days. He was advised but seems slow to grasp.

Thanks guys for all the suggestion.

The disconnected plug behind the mirror doesn't bother me too much. I just wanted to if there is a better (and easily reversible, i.e. no cutting required) to make it look clean.

Maybe I will just black zip tie the plug to the base of mirror, or electric tape the connector and see if I can plug it back it and it still won't make any connection.

no biggie on this

What if you covered both sensors with electrical tape or paint?
