Blue brake rotors

I have an 08 G35 sedan and the brake rotors are blue. Anyone know why? I bought the car almost a year ago and it came with blue rotors.

Sounds like someone painted them, are you sure it's the ROTORS and not the CALIPERS ?

Yes its the rotors.

Yep someone painted them, personally I'd take them off and take a wire wheel and clean that crap up so it doesn't look so wierd, or just tape them off and paint it all black.

You do have blue rotors! No worries, someone painted them either because that's the only rattle can they had or they liked the color blue!

Thank you for the advice. I’ll probably paint them black because the blue doesn’t match the rest of the car.

Nickt921, they were originally painted to cover rust that generally shows up on rotors...my guess! Buy a rattle can of black RustOlem from one of those high end places like Pep Boys, good project for a summers early morning!
