Before you make the purchase, have the vehicle thoroughly inspected by a Infiniti dealer and negotiate the purchase price if any deficiencies are found.

The number of previous owners means literally nothing. Maybe it was a lease vehicle for the first owner, the second owner was too fat for the car and traded it in early, the third owner couldn't pay the billz because he broke his leg and the 4th owner had another kid and couldn't fit the family in the car anymore.
All within a 5 year timespan, maybe all four of them babied the car and did all the scheduled maintenance items already.
Maybe a single owner car was completely thrashed on by a road ragey 2Fast2Furious spoiled brat who'd daddy bought him the car as a present for achieving mediocrity.
Which would you rather own?
Get a vehicle inspection.

This must be your first car purchase because your statement couldn't be more wrong. Cleric posted a great way to think about a car purchase and Telco gave you the single best piece of advice you can get. There are a million and one reasons why a 10 year old vehicle will have more than one owner in it's lifetime and most of them have nothing to do with problems. As with any new to you car purchase have a pre-purchase inspection done before you even decide to buy it. It can help you avoid major issues down the road. GL and use your head looking at cars. Take your time and don't make any snap decisions, look at a lot of cars until you find the one that's right for you and be happy when you pick a winner. This process is a marathon and not a sprint.......
I agree. Have only 1 owner could result in tons of issues. Just take the car to any good shop and pay to get it inspected. It's really really worth it. Don't even trust used car dealers.
