What do you mean "poor oem stuff". The OEM pads are great if you want a quiet, low dust, long life pad.
If you want something more aggressive you will get noise and dust to varying degrees up to track pads which squeal constantly, are super dusty, and wear out super fast.
What EXACTLY are you going to use them for and how much are you willing to sacrifice for performance. Then we can help suggest a set of pads.

I wouldn't call the OEM brakes on our sport sedans poor. Why do you say that? What about them are you not liking? Just curious. As far as pads go, I've been using Hawk HPS (High Performance Street) on my Subaru for years and LOVE them. Will be going with those for the G when the time comes. No noise, low dust, better bite than stock, and not so aggressive they need some heat to work (good for street cars that are driven in the cold)
