My son's 2007 G35x is having an issue with the right channel of the AUX input. Tested with multiple devices and cables including brand new Monster Cable. We get no audio from the right side when using the AUX input. Radio & CD's are fine.Has anyone else seen this? Do I need to dig into the console to check the wire at the right channel jack?

FYI, we have owned the car since new in April 2007. We gave it to my son when he turned 17 in 2016. Awesome car!!!!

If CD and radio sound fine on both sides, then I would assume u have a broken connection on the aux jack itself. Probably cracked solder or something

 

Yeah, that's what I figured. Guess I have to start digging into the console to investigate.
